
Menzies to Present Support to Claresholm Museum

OTTAWA — Ted Menzies, Member of Parliament for Macleod and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Cooperation, will be in Claresholm tomorrow, Saturday, October 21, 2006 to present a cheque for expansion to the Claresholm Museum.
“It is my pleasure to present the $171,000 grant from Heritage Canada’s Cultural Spaces program, which supports the improvement, renovation and construction of arts and heritage facilities, to the Claresholm Museum,” said Mr. Menzies. “This grant caps off all the hard work that the Museum Board and the community has put into the expansion of the Museum and I congratulate them on making the Museum expansion a reality.” The presentation will be made at the Claresholm Museum.
