
Parliamentary Secretary Ted Menzies travels to India

Ottawa - Ted Menzies, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Trade and to the Minister of International Cooperation, is in India as part of a Government of Canada's trade mission. Mr. Menzies will be meeting with business leaders and State-level government officials in Bangalore and Kolkota. He will also be visiting a number of academic institutions with a view to strengthening links of collaboration between Canada and India in education, especially in the areas of engineering and business management. Mr. Menzies will be joining the Honourable David Emerson, Minister of International Trade, from March 12th to 16th, 2007. The Minister is leading a delegation of Canadian businesses with expertise in infrastructure development to three cities including New Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
