
MENZIES ATTENDS JOINT FEDERAL-PROVINCIAL CAUCUS MEETINGS IN CALGARY

CLARESHOLM, AB – Ted Menzies, Member of Parliament for Macleod, will be attending joint Alberta Federal-Provincial Caucus meetings in Calgary on July 9, 2007. The joint Alberta Federal-Provincial Caucus brings together federal Conservative Members of Parliament together with their counterparts in the provincial Progressive Conservative caucus of the Alberta Legislature. “This joint caucus meeting is a great opportunity for both federal and provincial caucus colleagues to discuss some of the issues that matter to Albertans,” said Menzies. “This meeting provides a chance for us to outline our concerns and determine which directions we would like our respective governments to pursue to best serve Alberta.” Topics to be discussed include immigration and employment, housing, infrastructure, border issues, the environment and natural resources. The Alberta Federal-Provincial Caucus meets in Calgary on July 9, 2007. |
