
TED MENZIES TO PARTICIPATE IN CANADA DAY EVENTS

CLARESHOLM, AB – Ted Menzies, Member of Parliament for Macleod will be participating in Canada Day events in Blackie, Okotoks, and Granum this upcoming Sunday, July 1.
“Canada Day is a great opportunity for all Canadians to celebrate their pride and their heritage in this great country,” said Menzies. “I encourage all Canadians to enjoy this day and celebrate responsibly this weekend.” Schedule of events for Ted Menzies for July 1, 2007: Time: 10:00 AM Event: Blackie Canada Day Parade Details: Ted Menzies will co-marshal the parade with the Hon. George Groeneveld, MLA for Highwood. Time: 2:00 PM Event: Okotoks Canada Day Celebrations Details: Ted Menzies will attend reaffirmation of Canadian citizenship ceremony, followed by cutting of Canada Day cake.
